How I Practice
In the past 100 years, the field of psychotherapy has developed immensely. Since Freud, many newer approaches to psychoanalysis have evolved as modifications of psychoanalytic therapy. I have extensive experience and post-graduate training in several modes of psychodynamic psychotherapy, especially modern psychoanalysis. I use this approach to help individuals unfreeze aspects of their lives that feel frozen. Whether it be regarding work, relationships, play, or spirituality, I help people decide how they want to negotiate the details of their new flow based on whatever is on their mind at the time.
Whether I am listening quietly or more interactively, I work at a gentle and non-confrontational pace. This is especially true when working with individuals who want to tackle destructive patterns. In our work together, we will focus on the complexities of any obstacle you find important and will explore the demands of your life as they arise.
